After your graduation as a leisure manager you will be able to combine creativity, business insight and organisational skills in creating meaningful leisure products.
The Leisure & Events Management programme is delivered thematically. The programme consist of an ‘international classroom’, which involves a mix of Dutch and non-Dutch (international) students in one classroom. The regular programme takes four years, but there is a possibility to do a 3-year programme, which is referred to as the fast track (or accelerated programme).

As a leisure manager, you may take up a career in - for instance - theatres, music labels, sports centres or city marketing. You may be in charge of the operational management of a company, the development of new leisure products, or the organisation of exhibitions, conferences or events. Labour Market Prospects
In the ‘Keuzegids HBO 2015' (information is in Dutch) you can find an indication of the labour market prospects for recent graduates (average starter salaries and unemployment rates among recent graduates in the Netherlands). Graduates of the International Leisure & Events Management programme earn a starter salary of approximately € 1,725,- a month before tax. Approximately 41% of the graduates have found a job at bachelor's level.
