Możliwości kariery

While the academic quality of the programme is crucial, it is not sufficient in itself. It is of equal importance that students acquire personal skills such as the ability to communicate, debate, socialise, show flexibility and self-discipline, work together and act holistically. The programme atmosphere is intensive and each student should contribute to her/his own learning.

Business subjects include managerial economics, marketing, management accounting, financial management, organisation, finance and investment. In addition to the business subjects the programme also include courses in: mathematics, statistics, methodology and business law.

The first two years, the study programme takes place at AU Herning and the 5th semester usually takes place at a foreign business school or university, giving you a better cultural understanding by studying abroad. Students also have the opportunity to choose between different electives and hereby choose a certain profile. The 6th semester also takes place at AU Herning. You can read about the structure of the programme and the different profiles under "structure".

Global Marketing

This profile focuses on the challenges and opportunities which Globalisation present to the modern company. You will become familiar with the economic, political and socio cultural issues that affect the internationalised company, and will get the opportunity to test some of the rules of the game when navigating on the international market. In order to be able to create global market analysis for a company you need to be skilled both within qualitative and quantitative methods and the theoretical background behind these methods.

The outcome from the profile will eventually help you answer questions as: Do our company need to be internationalised? What is the relationship between internal resources and external opportunities? Which markets can we find as realistic target markets? Which market strategy will be recommendable? How should our global marketing programme be designed, implemented and coordinated? You will continuously work with these questions in the profile and strive to develop qualified, specific recommendation for your case company’s global marketing strategy.
