Global Management and Manufacturing (GMM)
How does a phone, skateboard or other gadget make its way from the factory floor all the way to you?
The Bachelor of Engineering study programme in Global Management and Manufacturing (GMM) teaches you how to plan and improve a product’s journey: from raw materials and suppliers to production, warehousing and delivery.
You gain knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain management, technology, business economics and management. Using mathematics, statistics and data, you learn, among other things, how to identify bottlenecks, reduce waste and improve the flow of production. You also work with digitalisation, ERP systems and automation – technologies that companies use to plan, manage and improve their operations.
Sustainability is an integral part of the programme. You learn how to assess materials, energy consumption and emerging technologies, helping businesses make decisions that make sense from a production, economic and environmental perspective.
Working closely with industry
Teaching combines theory with hands-on learning at the university and project work with companies. Here, you apply your academic knowledge to analyse production and workflows, identify opportunities for improvement and develop solutions.
You may, for example, work on how to:
- plan and optimise production
- reduce waiting times and improve the flow of warehousing and deliveries
- strengthen collaboration with suppliers
- implement digital solutions and automation
- analyse data to support better decision-making
- reduce waste of materials, time and energy

Świadectwo dojrzałości wraz ze świadectwem ukończenia liceum - jeśli posiadasz już te dokumenty, koniecznie załącz je do swojego formularza aplikacyjnego Kastu. Jeśli jesteś w ostatniej klasie szkoly średniej, doślesz je wtedy, kiedy je otrzymasz.
Uwaga:
Na tę uczelnię należy przesłać wszystkie wymagane dokumenty do 5 lipca. Polscy kandydaci kończący szkołę średnią w tym roku otrzymają jednak wyniki matur dopiero po tym terminie. Kastu uzgodniło z AU, że studenci aplikujący przez Kastu mają 100% gwarancję, że ich dokumenty zostaną przyjęte, nawet jeśli dyplom zostanie otrzymany 8 lipca. W drugiej połowie marca poinformujemy wszystkich studentów, którzy wysłali formularze aplikacyjne, jak zapewnić sobie takie zabezpieczenie.
Sytuacja ta nie dotyczy absolwentów, którzy w momencie składania aplikacji powinni mieć już maturę i Świadectwo Ukończenia.
Osoby zdające IB (International Baccalaureate) otrzymują dyplom wcześniej, nie powinny więc mieć problemu, by dokumenty były wysłane na czas.

Your career
As a GMM engineer, you could work as a manufacturing engineer, quality engineer, supply chain manager, project manager or production manager. You can find opportunities in both Danish and international companies, where you can help develop manufacturing, processes and supply chains.
You can also continue your studies towards an MSc in Engineering, for example in Technology Based Business Development.
