Upon completion of this programme, you will be prepared to join a team as an innovative engineer, where you will shape new welding technologies and processes. In addition, as the programme integrates knowledge from different areas of welding production in combination with the International Welding Engineering (IWE) syllabus, you are also eligible for presenting at the examinations of the IWE diploma with the Swedish Welding Commission at an extra cost to register for the IWE certification.

The programme is harmonised with the International Welding Engineer (IWE) diploma, an internationally recognised welding education certified by the International Institute of Welding (IIW) through their national organisations. Providing students with a globally recognized qualification for professional welding coordination roles.
Na studia magisterskie mogą kandydować wszyscy, którzy ukończyli studia licencjackie lub inżynierskie (studia I stopnia), studia magisterskie lub studiują na ostatnim roku studiów I-stopnia. Spełnienie wymagań w zakresie języka angielskiego można udokumentować w jeden z następujących sposobów:
- IELTS - 6.5 (co najmniej 5.5 z każdej części)
- TOEFL – 90 (w tym minimum 20 z pisania, skala to 0-30)

Previous education: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Material Engineering, Marine Engineering or equivalent.
This degree qualifies you to hold positions such as:
- Welding engineer
- PhD student in production technology
- Quality control engineer
- Project manager for design and development of new welding solutions
