Urban Design (Architecture & Design)
The Msc programme in Urban Design at Aalborg University, Denmark, takes its point of departure in a number of current and future challenges in the field of urban development and urban design. You will get a solid and professional foundation in subjects, methods, theories and disciplines spanning from urban building design and technologies to knowledge about modeling and user involvement.
The Urban Design education offers each student a creative combination of problem-based learning (PBL) and realistic projects with “hands-on” challenges that equip the student to address challenges pertaining to e.g. climate change, temporary urban development projects, urban mobility, projects and strategies of the culture city, the urban landscape and city growth.
It takes two years to attain a master degree in Urban Design, and during this time you will meet a wide range of teachers who will present you with new knowledge in key areas. The educational programme is internationally oriented, and attracts Danish as well as international students. Furthermore the educational programme offers the opportunity of an internship or/and an external study at another university as well as study trips inside and outside Denmark during the semester.
Na studia magisterskie mogą kandydować wszyscy, którzy ukończyli studia licencjackie lub inżynierskie (studia I stopnia), studia magisterskie lub studiują na ostatnim roku studiów I-stopnia. Studia, które planujesz powinny mieć zbliżony profil do tych obecnych lub ukończonych, ponieważ w procesie rekrutacji kluczowa jest ich zgodność programowa.
- Wykaz punktów ECTS – osoby, które są jeszcze w trakcie studiów, muszą załączyć wypis punktów ECTS, w którym będzie wykazane, jakie przedmioty były realizowane na studiach oraz ile punktów za nie otrzymano.
- Dyplom ukończenia studiów licencjackich lub inżynierskich – jeśli jesteś absolwentem wyższej uczelni, nie potrzebujesz wypisu, wystarczy załączyć dyplom ukończenia studiów wraz z suplementem (w języku angielskim lub oryginał z tłumaczeniem)
Wyniki z testu z języka angielskiego należy przesłać do 31 lipca. Wraz z aplikacją musisz koniecznie przesłać certyfikat lub potwierdzenie zapisania się na honorowany przez tą uczelnię test językowy - w potwierdzeniu musi być Twoje imię, nazwisko i termin, w którym będziesz zdawać test.
Spełnienie wymagań w zakresie języka angielskiego można udokumentować w następujący sposób:
IELTS – 6.5
TOEFL – 88
Relevant Bachelor’s degree.

The education in Urban Design at Aalborg University, Denmark combines such skills as creativity, engineering and team work. This combination gives the student the opportunity to influence in which direction he/she wish to head.
Furthermore the education has a close connection and collaboration with companies, institutions etc., which among other things gives the student the opportunity to collaborate with and create close connections to these companies, institutions, etc. This is beneficial for the project work as well as for future carrier opportunities.
Urban Design combines the architect’s design expertise and the engineer’s professionalism with insight into sociological processes. Urban Design candidates are needed all over the world to work with the organisation of construction developments and city spaces to provide city dwellers with exciting and new urban experiences. Candidates are able to undertake positions in for example:

- Urban planning practices
- Design studios
- Engineering consultancies
