Pharmacy MPharm
The MPharm degree places the way in which a pharmacist can serve the needs of patients as central to the ethos of the students’ learning experience.
Pharmacists are experts in all aspects of medicines and drugs; as such they play a vital role in providing quality healthcare to patients.
The patient , and the way in which a pharmacist can serve the needs of patients, is a central focus of the course. At the same time we recognise that pharmacy is a science-based profession and that a strong scientific basis will enable you to make informed decisions in practice.
Inter-professional education will encourage you to meet and work with students from other health and social care disciplines and to learn more about how to work in a multi-professional team.
The course aims to produce graduates with a standard of scientific knowledge, interpersonal skills and the professional outlook necessary to embark on a career in any branch of the profession.
Why study Pharmacy at DMU:

Wymagana średnia z trzech przedmiotów z matury: minimum 50% (jeden z tych przedmiotów musi być na poziomie rozszerzonym) lub minimum 50% z trzech przedmiotów i 60% z czwartego przedmiotu na poziomie podstawowym.
Świadectwo ukończenia drugiej klasy (liceum) lub trzeciej klasy (technikum) – załącz ten dokument jeśli wciąż się uczysz i dlatego nie masz jeszcze świadectwa ukończenia szkoły średniej. Nie musisz załączać tłumaczenia tego dokumentu.
Świadectwo dojrzałości oraz świadectwo ukończenia szkoły średniej – w przypadku ukończenia szkoły średniej wystarczy, że do formularza aplikacyjnego załączysz świadectwo dojrzałości (maturalne) wraz ze świadectwem ukończenia liceum (bądź technikum) - do obu tych dokumentów potrzebne jest też tłumaczenie przysięgłe.
Ważne jest, by uczelnia otrzymała wyniki testu z języka angielskiego do 31 lipca.
Wystarczy, aby z matury z języka angielskiego otrzymać minimum 75% z części pisemnej na poziomie podstawowym lub 60% z części pisemnej na poziomie rozszerzonym na kierunki, na których wymagany jest IELTS na 6.0-6.5. Na kierunki, na których wymagany jest IELTS 7.0 matura z języka angielskiego nie jest uznawana.
Uwaga: niektóre kierunki mogą mieć wyższe wymagania językowe.

You must comply with the Code of Conduct for Pharmacy Students. Successful completion of the degree is one step in becoming a pharmacist; you must also successfully complete pre-registration training and pass the national exam, set by the General Pharmaceutical Council, to be able to register as a pharmacist.
The General Pharmaceutical Council will not offer prospective registration advice. Applicants can appeal against a registration refusal. Any appeal must be made to the General Pharmaceutical Council’s Appeals Committee.
